These Terms govern your use of the FoodieSonar mobile app and website, operated by WCF Holdings, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old to use FoodieSonar. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up.
You keep ownership of the content you add — saved spots, notes, and dish recommendations. By adding content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and use it to operate and improve the service.
Community catalog. When you save a restaurant and attribute it to a reviewer, the restaurant details and that attribution may become part of a public catalog visible to other users. Your identity is not attached to those entries. Don't attribute a restaurant to a reviewer who didn't actually feature it.
You agree not to:
FoodieSonar references restaurants, food reviewers, television programs, and social media content created by others. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any reviewer, network, program, or restaurant referenced in the app unless we explicitly say so. Names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the source of a recommendation.
Where the app links to or displays social media posts, that content is delivered through the platform's official embed tools and remains subject to that platform's terms and the creator's rights.
Restaurant information — including addresses, hours, cuisine, and whether a business is still open — comes from third-party sources and user contributions. It may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Verify details before relying on them, particularly before traveling.
Nearby alerts depend on your device's location services, network conditions, and permissions, and may be delayed or fail to arrive. Do not rely on FoodieSonar for anything time-critical.
Do not interact with the app while driving. Follow all applicable traffic laws and use hands-free operation where required.
The FoodieSonar name, logo, app design, and software are owned by WCF Holdings, LLC. These Terms don't grant you rights to use our branding without written permission.
FoodieSonar is currently offered free of charge during a beta period. Features may change, break, or be removed, and data loss is possible. We may introduce paid features in the future; if we do, we'll tell you before charging you anything.
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe harm the service or other users.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that information in it is accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WCF Holdings, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WCF Holdings, LLC from claims arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We may update these Terms as the service develops. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
